Springfield Golf Club
With a design that harkens back to the traditional schemes of the 1920's and the Golden Age of Architecture in golf, Springfield Golf Club, a public course adjacent to Springfield, has quickly made a name for itself among Charlotte golf courses since opening in 2001.
The 6,906 yard par 72 Clyde Johnston designed layout is located on a heavily wooded and hilly site adjacent to the community. The course features four holes that flank Sugar Creek, affording players spectacular views which include 13 holes that play across and along perennial streams that feed into the Catawba River.
