Meet the Neighbors:
The Kellys
When Tim and Cindy Kelly considered moving to Fort Mill from Indianapolis, they knew that finding the right community was as important as Tim feeling comfortable in a new medical practice.
Tim, a physician, decided on a practice in Rock Hill, and once Tim and Cindy saw Springfield, they knew they found a community they loved.
“Springfield felt like home as soon as we pulled in,” says Cindy. “I really could picture us living here.”
As the Kellys learned more about Springfield and Fort Mill, they knew it was the right fit. With their youngest daughter, Maureen, entering her junior year in high school, Nation Ford was perfect. |

“Knowing she was going to a new school made her feel comfortable,” says Cindy. Not to mention, Nation Ford High is part of one of the best school districts in the nation.
With their three boys grown and out of the house, Tim and Cindy moved their daughters, Maureen and Caitlyn, a freshman at Winthrop University, to Springfield.
“We were so excited about the community that we wanted to settle in while our custom home was under construction,” says Cindy. The Kellys bought one of the Cunnane Group’s completed golf villas and are already getting to know their neighbors.
They are looking forward to moving into their new custom home on the golf course later this year.
“We like being outdoors and especially like the views and activities that come with a golf course community,” Cindy says. “We look forward to enjoying our home’s screened porch and outdoor living space.”
Orchard Park Busier Than Ever
Springfield ladies enjoyed Martinis and Manicures in January, and a few brave families enjoyed February’s Polar Bear Plunge, but as the weather warms, even more activities are planned to keep Springfield residents of all ages busy. In March, the activities directors have planned a Pattis & Pints event to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Kids can come take part in a bike parade, then enjoy Brewster’s ice cream while the adults enjoy a pint of beer with their neighbors. Coming up in April, Orchard Park will welcome some special visitors from the Carolina Raptor Center for a program about our feathered friends. These events, along with regular exercise classes, teen nights, preschool playgroups, men’s outings and Bunco nights for the ladies are sure to keep Springfield families busy all spring.
